Children’s Oncology Services, Inc Partnership

Batory Foods has partnered with Children’s Oncology Services, Inc. (COSI), an organization devoted to the needs of children diagnosed with cancer and their families.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, a family’s world is turned upside down. Days that were once filled with school, friends and activities are replaced by doctor’s visits, medical evaluations and treatments. In addition to navigating this new path, families are faced with enormous financial challenges. Things that were once taken for granted, like summer camp, are no longer possible.

Children’s Oncology Services, Inc. believes that a diagnosis of cancer should not prevent a child from experiencing the simple joys of childhood. For more than 30 years, COSI has operated the One Step At A Time Summer Camp, ensuring that children with cancer have a place to enjoy life, make friends and simply be a kid.  

Greater Chicago Food Depository

Batory Foods is deeply committed to our community. As a food ingredient distributor, we recognize the need to fight hunger. The Greater Chicago Food Depository is a nonprofit food distribution center that provides food to more than 600 soup kitchens, food pantries and shelters. Batory Foods is proud to be a devoted contributor to this outstanding organization in their outreach programs.
