Our sustainability initiatives are centered around three pillars – Planet: reduce operational waste and emissions, People: prioritize safety and well-being, and Partners: collaborate with sustainable partners.
Moving forward, we will strive to:
• Measure our greenhouse gas footprint – Scopes 1, 2 and 3
• Install solar panels in at least 1 facility
• Promote our sustainably certified ingredients
• Implement recycling in all facilities
• Expand our employee wellness program offerings
• Use EcoVadis to engage with suppliers and build a more sustainable supply chain
• Build a rigorous safety culture through education and training
• Reduce food waste by donating/selling surplus ingredients
Our Rating
We submitted our second EcoVadis assessment in 2023, receiving a Bronze medal and increasing our previous score by 3 points! EcoVadis helps us understand our strengths and opportunities for improvement, track our performance over time, and benchmark ourselves against industry peers.
We also use EcoVadis to engage with our suppliers. Each year, we run an EcoVadis campaign where we request suppliers to take an EcoVadis assessment and share their score. This campaign provides insight into our suppliers’ sustainability practices and helps build transparency across our supply chain.
