Softgels can be an effective delivery system for oral supplements because the fill contains ingredients that might be difficult to include in any other solid dosage form such as a tablet. The fill can be in the form of a suspension, liquid or paste. Different delivery options and ingredients are possible with a softgel that are not possible with other nutraceutical forms.
