Tortillas & Flatbreads Systems Built for Real-World Production.

Flexibility on day one does not matter if the product cracks later. Batory helps build performance that lasts.

Batory supports tortilla and flatbread manufacturers with systems that improve extensibility, softness, rollability, and shelf stability while helping reduce cracking and staling. The result is a product that performs better through production, packaging, distribution, and use.

Maltodextrin/Corn Syrup Solids

High Fructose Corn Syrup (42,55)

Real Questions
Real Answers

Clear guidance on sourcing, scalability, and documentation for your application.

How do hydrocolloid and preservative supply decisions affect tortilla performance?
These systems influence machinability, press release, stackability, and flexibility over shelf life. Buying on price alone can create cracking or edge drying once the product cools and packs. Batory's robust sourcing network keeps these inputs on spec and on time so you can stay focused on the bake.
What should operations verify before a formula is scaled on a hot-press line?
Check absorption, press temperature response, diameter control, and rollback after cooling. A system that handles well in the pilot plant may blister differently or lose foldability on a faster line. Batory's product development team can help fine-tune dough handling, press conditions, and line performance so the first commercial run stays on spec.
What documentation is normally reviewed before approval?
Teams usually request specifications, COAs, allergen statements, and mold inhibition support tied to pH and moisture targets. Label review is also common because cultured systems and traditional preservatives are declared differently. Batory keeps the documentation organized and ready, with lot-level COAs and shelf life data, so you don't spend hours chasing paperwork.
